If MelBet does not appear in your App Store region

Apple hides gambling listings in stores where local rules require it. Our iPhone test, including the region problem

We tried the iOS route on an iPhone 12 running iOS 18 with a Philippine Apple ID. The honest result: the MelBet listing did not open for us from the Philippine store, and tapping the official link produced an App Store page that was unavailable in our region.

  • App Store install from a PH Apple ID: not available during our test.
  • We did not switch our Apple ID region, because it would have cut off existing purchases and subscriptions on that account.
  • Falling back to the mobile site took seconds and gave us the same account, balance and live markets.
  • Face ID login, the headline iOS advantage, is therefore unavailable unless you can install the app.

This is worth knowing before you spend an evening on workaround guides. For most Filipino iPhone users we tested with, the browser version is the practical answer rather than the App Store.
